Statistics: Learning to sort, count, display and make statements about the information

I have been learning to:
  • sort objects into categories for display and make a class pictograph with support
  • discuss the results and make statements

I was learning to figure out the answers.  I counted the shapes to see how much.  Then I chose the right one for the answer.  It was easy for me to see the butterflies had the most on the chart.  Esmond  29.13.17

Well done Esmond you have worked well at your Maths.  You can analyse the data and make a simple comment about the information.  Keep trying to talk and discuss your learning and how you solve problems.  Mrs Templeton  29.03.17

Learning to identify sounds in words to help my reading

I am learning to:

  • identify phonic letters and sounds
  • identify high frequency sight words
  • use Reading Eggs to help me to identify sounds

Its a bit tricky working out the different words.  I look hard at the sounds in the middle. Esmond  29.03.17

You can keep working on Reading Eggs for homework as well as your school sessions to help you practise even more.  Keep reading your books aloud.  When you say the words you hear the sounds in them.  Good job Esmond.  Mrs Templeton  29.03.17
