My Reflection

  

I am learning to make a 24 hour clock. I was able to make a 24 hour clock by using  big clock, a mini clock and 2 arrows. I found this challenging because I didn't know what a 24 hour clock was. My next step is to know more about 24 hour clocks.

My Reflection

I am learning to write an Acrostic Poem. I was able to write about the lockdown in a Acrostic Poem way. I found this challenging because its was hard to think of words that make sense. My next step is to make a larger acrostic poem.

My Reflection

I am learning to identify properties of 3D shapes. I was able to explain if the shapes had straight or curved edges, straight or curved faces and how many vertices they had. I found this easy because the picture of the shapes were there so I can count and see how many faces, edges an vertices. My next step is to identify more complex 3D shapes.

Bird step by step

My Reflection

I am learning to draw a bird by step. I was able to draw a bird using a step by step video. I found this easy because the bird was simple and I just had to copy what the person was doing. My next step is to draw another animal.

Properties of 2D Shapes

I am learning to identify properties of 2D shapes. I was able to explain if the shapes had vertices, number of sides and straight or curved sides. I found this easy because the picture of the shapes were there so I can count and see how many sides, vertices and if it was straight or curved. My next step is to identify properties of 3D shapes.

I am learning to write about a recount. I was able to create a recount with 5 paragraphs and 5 sentences in each paragraph. I found this challenging because I had to remember what happened and what we did. My next step is to add more adjectives and adverbs.

Queen of the Pool

My Reflection

I have been learning to link ideas in the text to give a greater understanding of the story. I was able to define, explain and understand he terms explicit and implicit in my own words. I found this challenging because there was lots of words of choose from for the antonyms and it was hard to think of sentences. My next step is to not choose boring words and think of good sentences.

The 5 Ws

My Reflection

I am learning to identify the 5 W's + Hook. I was able to identify the 5 W's and the Hook in the introduction of a recount. I found this easy because I can remember what the 5 W's and hook are and where they go. My next step is to create an introduction using the 5 W's, how and hook.

Sea Week

My Refection

I am learning to find answers to questions about sea life. I was able to find and correct each answer to all of the questions. I found this challenging because some of the answers were a little bit confusing. My next step is to learn and find more about sea creatures.

I am learning to put the right labels in the correct place. I was able to put the labels where they are supposed to go. I found this challenging because it was hard to find where the x and y axis goes. My next step is to create some different graphs and use larger numbers.

I have been learning to write a Kennings Poem. A Kennings Poem is like a riddle. You have to guess what it is about. I found this tricky because it was hard to choose the correct words for it to make sense. My next step is to make more Kennings Poems about different animals and objects.
